Created by combining found objects with multi-media sculpture, I focus on creating vignettes of moments inspired by a wide range of myths and folklore. Often, I write my own tales for the pieces. Each sculpture is one of a kind and hand-sculpted. I do my own woodworking and am the proud owner of my own magpie’s hoard of interesting pieces awaiting their turn to become a sculpture. The stories that accompany the pieces are displayed at in-person events, and accompany the sculptures to their new homes. I hope one day to compile the stories and sculptures into a book.
